Maximum bourse amount for Eligible Participants Travel

Every participant will be informed about the maximum bourse amount, that will depend on the travel distance and will be calculated once the list of grants are decided. It is expected that the bourse will be enough to cover the travel expenses in all cases. The travel cost to be paid to each participant will be that justified by the corresponding tickets, up to the maximum value informed to each participant when the grant approval was communicated. The bourse will also cover living expenses and hostage. Detailed information about these points will be given with the letter communicating the grant approval.

However, applicants should take care of maximum limits given in Annex I of Marie Curie Conference and Training Courses Handbook, given in the following table. Distances can be calculated using the following tool:

(1) Direct distance (as the crow flies) based on latitude and longitude between the two locations.

Example: Someone travelling from Oslo to Zaragoza (there are 2186km between both cities calculated “as the crow flies”) can be paid back up to 1000€ for travelling. The real maximum reimbursment level will be communicated together with the grant approval.
